The Sale of Alcoholic Beverages
Baskets Beautiful does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 21. By using this site you swear and affirm that you are over the age of 21. Baskets Beautiful makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 21. By using this site you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from Baskets Beautiful
is over the age of 21. You also agree that any alcohol purchased from Baskets Beautiful is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If you do not agree with these conditions of use, please do not use this site. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 21 Baskets Beautiful will prosecute you fully to the extent allowable by law. In the State of Connecticut Chatham Fine Wines and Liquor provides alcoholic beverages. In the State of Michigan Lo Spuntino, Inc., provides alcoholic beverages.
Shipping
To ensure your gift basket arrives at its destination when expected, we offer a variety of shipping options including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL and Airborne Express. Depending on the type of gift basket you are sending, the shipping methods will vary. Charges will differ based on volume and weight.
Ground Shipping may take 2 . 7 days in addition to the packaging and turning the order over to the carrier.
3 Day Shipping will arrive in 3 business days in addition to the packaging and turning the order over to the carrier.
2nd Day Shipping will arrive in 2 business days in addition to the packaging and turning the order over to the carrier.
Overnight Shipping will arrive the next business day in addition to the packaging and turning the order over to the carrier.
All gift baskets will be shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday thru Friday. Please be aware that shipments will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays. With this in mind, be sure to place your order early enough to arrive in time for your special occasion. Orders must be placed by 9 am EST to be shipped same day. All orders placed after this time will be shipped the next business day.
All gift baskets are normally shipped within 24 hours of receipt. At this time, we are only able to ship within the continental United States. We can not ship to Canada or Alaska. All shipments made to Hawaii will ship either 2nd Day Air or Next Day and additional shipping charges may apply. Contact Customer Support with pricing questions. During December, which is our peak Holiday season, there may be a delayed processing time of up to one week..so order early!
Shipments to Hospitals / Businesses / Hotels
If you are sending a gift basket to a hospital, please make absolute certainty that the recipient will be there once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient.s home address, or to yourself to deliver in person. Baskets Beautiful will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered within a hospital due to the patient being dismissed or the hospital staff misplacing the gift.
If you are sending a gift basket to a place of business, please note, that the package may be delivered to a dock or receiving area. It is recommended to notify someone at the business to let them know a perishable package is being delivered. Baskets Beautiful will not assume responsibility for the business being closed or the recipient not being available.
If you are sending a gift basket to a hotel, please make absolute certainty that the recipient will be in the hotel once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient.s home address. Baskets Beautiful will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered to a hotel due to the guest checking out or the hotel staff misplacing the gift.
Returns & Cancellations
It is our mission to ensure you are 100% satisfied with our products. If for any reason you are not happy, please e-mail us within five days of order receipt with the following information: order number, name, phone number, and the best time to contact you along with a detailed explanation of your complaint. One of Baskets Beautiful's customer service agents will contact you within one business day. Any complaint made outside of the five-day time frame, will be handled on a case by case basis, within reason. If your gift basket arrives damaged, we will send a replacement basket or issue you a full refund for the gift basket (excluding shipping charges). Orders shipped to an incorrect address due to wrong zip code or outdated shipping addresses are not the responsibility of Baskets Beautiful. Please be sure to check your spelling and address information carefully before submitting your order, including proper suite and apartment numbers. Incorrect shipping information may delay your order or result in not receiving it at all. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address and the order is to be re-shipped, you will be charged a separate $10 fee for re-shipping the order to the correct address in addition to the additional shipping fees. Also be aware, we cannot ship to APO addresses, PO Boxes, or anything other than a physical street address within the United States. Baskets containing food perishable items, fruit, cheesecakes, or fresh baked items may not be returned due to health concerns. If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please notify us immediately. We cannot cancel, change or re-route orders already in transit. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
Substitutions
Changes are constantly made to our inventory based on product and seasonal availability. Therefore, substitutions may be made for products with equal or greater value. When making substitutions, we will ensure that every measure is taken to ensure the highest quality and the most professional taste. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Gift Baskets containing chocolates will be substituted with products of equal or greater value between the months of May and October. This is to maintain the highest quality standards for our customers based on seasonal availability.

Baskets Beautiful accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Sales Tax
Any non food item shipped from a Michigan address will be charged sales tax of 6%.
